Should I be in therapy?
If you’ve thought this question, you probably should be. Therapy is unique to each individual, so whatever topic you come in with is what we will discuss. There is no right or wrong reason to attend therapy. The first session, also known as the initial consultation, is time for you to see if you want to be in therapy and see if I am the right therapist for you!
How long is a session?
An individual session is typically 50 minutes. I usually recommend an 80 minute session for couples and families.
How much will therapy cost?
I use a sliding fee scale, so I can work with you on the price that best fits your budget. It can cost between $90-$160 per session. This varies based on annual income, size of household, and length of session.
Group therapy also allows for one to be in a therapeutic environment for as little as half the normal cost! If you are interested in this form of self discovery check out the upcoming groups on the services page.
Do you have a student discount?
Yes! If you are a college and/or graduate student in the surrounding community, please let me know during your intake to discuss a discounted fee!
How often will we meet?
Sessions are typically once a week, but some clients choose to be seen bi-weekly or once per month depending on their therapeutic and financial needs. Usually clients will start seeing me on a weekly basis, then as progress is made they transition to less frequent sessions.
Do you accept insurance?
Not at this time. Payments can be made with cash, debit, or credit.
Where are you located? Is there parking?
My office is located at 2231 Camino Del Rio S., Suite 308, San Diego, CA 92108. Parking is available for free in Lots 10 & 11.
Are walk-ins available?
